If you know me, you know that I purchased land in Okinawa and am planning to build a house there. I go often - happen to be there now. Here is a video I took last time I was here in March. I flew my drone about 2 kilometers from Bise toward Iejima Island to capture this sunset. YouTube video here.

Bise is a protected district of Motobu Town in the northern part of Okinawa. It is actual in the central part, but they call this area "north part" because there is not much else further north from here. It is known for it's Fukugi Trees that line lanes and property borders. These trees and local Okinawa architecture are protected by the city in order to preserve the historical culture and scenery.

By the way, the drone is a DJI Mini 2. It can stay connected with the controller for up to 10 kilometers but the question is, will the battery last that long? I flew 2 kilometers one-way on this flight and the battery looked like it last much longer, so I turned around and brought it back. Probably 9 minutes of flight time. There was wind at this time, so this degrades the flight time. Also, I have had this for about a year and a half so the batteries are degrading a bit too.
